Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Biagio Del Monte kicked off to start the match. Donato Mariotti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Pedroni having to interfere. Marangana FC's Alessandro Pedroni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Marangana FC from getting a goal against them. After 7 played minutes Marangana FC got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Massa. Francesco Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Davide Terenzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davide Terenzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armin Del Duca in the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Monte Donato getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Flavio Santone hit a great ball. Davide Terenzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armin Del Duca, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Emanuele Odisio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armin Del Duca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Davide Terenzi having to make a save. Armin Del Duca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 played minutes Monte Donato got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Santone. The audience was convinced that Emanuele Odisio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davide Terenzi was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Marangana FC's Armin Del Duca got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alessandro Pedroni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Biagio Del Monte's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Ermanno Fasciani hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuele Odisio was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Emanuele Odisio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Davide Terenzi, 0-1. Marangana FC's Alessandro Pedroni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Del Monte in the 74th minute of play. Alessandro Pedroni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biagio Del Monte in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Mariotti in the 80th minute of play forced Marangana FC's goalkeeper Alessandro Pedroni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Donato Mariotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Pedroni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Marangana FC defense, Donato Mariotti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alessandro Pedroni. The Marangana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alessandro Pedroni should have stopped the shot.
