With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Addario in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Guadagnoli saved Marina Romea AFC from getting behind. Bianco Rossini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Domenico Corelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alessandro Perilli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandro Piccini kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Marina Romea AFC! The goalkeeper, Augusto Guadagnoli, was totally fooled by Bordonchio AFC's Anselmo Scarinci, who 34 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Domenico Corelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinando Benvenuto in the 38th minute of play. Bordonchio AFC's Domenico Corelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinando Benvenuto in the 43rd minute of play. Attilio Fagnani's late challenge caught a Marina Romea AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Attilio Fagnani helped the player get up and apologised. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aurelio Addario to make the kick off. With a little luck, Bordonchio AFC's Domenico Corelli got control of the ball when Ferdinando Benvenuto tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Marina Romea AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
