If Aldo Caiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Marina Romea AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Cattaneo came free, but Augusto Guadagnoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Dario Cattaneo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Guadagnoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dario Cattaneo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Guadagnoli was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Marina Romea AFC's Augusto Guadagnoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Cattaneo in the 37th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Boara Pisani got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Armellini. After a defensive mix-up in Boara Pisani's zone, Ferdinando Benvenuto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Latini came out of the goal and Ferdinando Benvenuto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th match minute, Boara Pisani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Santalucia to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute of the game, Alfonso Benarrivo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 48 minutes, Florian Pasinati mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boara Pisani and the Marina Romea AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Boara Pisani's Florian Pasinati got a free kick in the 49th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

56 minutes into the match, Ferdinando Benvenuto notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Boara Pisani's Enzo Latini. Enzo Latini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Aldo Caiola could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Augusto Guadagnoli however easily saved by the left post. If Ferdinando Benvenuto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alessandro Perilli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Enzo Latini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Corrado Vulcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Marina Romea AFC booed when Boara Pisani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Armellini didn't get a good kick on the ball.
