Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vigorovea's Antonio Mascitti started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alberigo Romanese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Mascitti in the 3rd minute of play. When Antonio Mascitti came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Vigorovea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Mascitti couldn't finish the play. Eraldo Melis might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberigo Romanese. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eraldo Melis ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Mei in the 11th minute of play forced Vigorovea's goalkeeper Ercole Cipolla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberigo Romanese made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Eraldo Melis sent off a good shot on target. When Acciaiolo's Cristiano Mei in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vigorovea's goalie prevented a goal. In the 19th minute, Antonio Mascitti reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alberigo Romanese. The goal made the score 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Cristiano Mei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acciaiolo's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Mei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ercole Cipolla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 1-1 became the score in the 24th minute when Cristoforo Primavera elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cristoforo Primavera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ercole Cipolla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Cristiano Mei put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ercole Cipolla. In the 40th minute, Antonio Mascitti fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Eraldo Melis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Mascitti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Acciaiolo's Alberigo Romanese proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Acciaiolo from getting a goal against them. The Vigorovea players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Acciaiolo were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Cristiano Mei made the kick off in the second half. Alberigo Romanese took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Mascitti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 played minutes Acciaiolo got a freekick which was hit by Diego Patrizi. 61 minutes into the match, Vigorovea's Fortunato Di Vito broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Antonio Mascitti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eraldo Melis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Romanese having to interfere. Acciaiolo's Alberigo Romanese played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Mascitti in the 71st minute of play. If Cristiano Mei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Cristoforo Primavera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute Cristiano Mei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Cipolla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Mascitti in the 88th minute of play forced Acciaiolo's goalkeeper Alberigo Romanese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eraldo Melis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Romanese having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Eraldo Melis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberigo Romanese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ercole Cipolla made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Cristoforo Primavera sent off a good shot on target. The Acciaiolo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Acciaiolo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
