Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Ferruccio Giansante came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Lomazzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferruccio Giansante couldn't finish the play. When Amos Nelli fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zinola's protests and gave Amos Nelli a yellow card for diving instead. Antonio Centofanti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfonso Contaldi came out and tried to block the shot, but Antonio Centofanti slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. In the 22nd minute of the match, Antonio Centofanti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alfonso Contaldi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bernardo Saraceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Rivera in the 24th minute of the match. Bernardo Saraceni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Davide Rivera's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Alfredo Mucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Ferruccio Giansante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zinola's goalkeeper Bernardo Saraceni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Amos Nelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davide Rivera to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Davide Rivera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bernardo Saraceni. Davide Rivera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After having played for 56 minutes, Ferruccio Giansante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lomazzo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferruccio Giansante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Saraceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Rivera, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Biagio Mingione during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lomazzo getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Beppe Coviello hit a great ball. When Davide Rivera, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 76 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bernardo Saraceni was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 82 minutes, Ferruccio Giansante made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Zinola's Bernardo Saraceni tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zinola's Fedele Chioda got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antonio Centofanti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Alfonso Contaldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Zinola's Fedele Chioda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonso Contaldi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfonso Contaldi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonio Santarelli went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to Zinola getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Antonio Santarelli hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lomazzo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
