After a rather tough play, Zinola's Amos Nelli got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Antonio Mirto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Saraceni having to make a save. 8 minutes into the match, Zinola's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Luciano came free, but Bernardo Saraceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th match minute, Zinola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amos Nelli to maneuver through the defense. Zinola's Bernardo Saraceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Mirto in the 15th minute of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Fedele Chioda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zinola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fedele Chioda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute Antonio Centofanti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Fiorentino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alexander Luciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Alexander Luciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th match minute, Zinola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Santarelli to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Saraceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Luciano in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the match, Antonio Centofanti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eugenio Fiorentino saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Antonio Centofanti sped through Dercogna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eugenio Fiorentino. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Alexander Luciano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dercogna's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Luciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Saraceni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonio Mirto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Saraceni was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Antonio Mirto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antonio Mirto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Centofanti in the 58th minute of play forced Dercogna's goalkeeper Eugenio Fiorentino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Dercogna booed when Zinola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Santarelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 played minutes Dercogna got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Di Campli. 67 minutes into the match, Zinola's Attilio Ruggieri broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Fedele Chioda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Fiorentino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Centofanti, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Fedele Chioda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antonio Mirto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Attilio Ruggieri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eugenio Fiorentino. Dercogna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dercogna's Eugenio Fiorentino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Centofanti in the 81st minute of play. Bernardo Saraceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Mirto in the 83rd minute of play. After 83 minutes, Bianco Rucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zinola and the Dercogna players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Zinola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bianco Rucci to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Saraceni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Mirto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes in the game, Antonio Mirto fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bernardo Saraceni having to interfere. Dercogna's Antonio Mirto got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
