An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian De Bonis in the 80th minute of play forced Cao Di Sopra AFC's goalkeeper Franco Gambini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 played minutes, Trizzino AFC's Cristiano Pollastrini shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Franco Gambini came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Trizzino AFC reached it. Carmine Fiorentino's late challenge caught a Trizzino AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cao Di Sopra AFC's Carmine Fiorentino got a free kick in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Cao Di Sopra AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian De Bonis came free, but Franco Gambini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cao Di Sopra AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
