Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carmine Volponi got the match started through his kick off. Comunardo Di Fabio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Di Ruscio having to interfere. Carmine Volponi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Demetrio Ferrario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmine Volponi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Di Mascio charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Di Mascio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With an all-out effort, Borsea's Demetrio Ferrario threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carmine Volponi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Borgo Panigale AFC's Demetrio Ferrario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Volponi in the 19th minute of play. Demetrio Ferrario was a little too slow when Carmine Volponi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 26th minute of the match Bernardo Corleone sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Demetrio Ferrario skillfully saved the ball. Adriano Di Florio hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edoardo Colantoni during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The goalkeeper, Demetrio Ferrario, was totally fooled by Borsea's Bernardo Di Mascio, who 31 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Diego Tedeschi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 38 played minutes Borgo Panigale AFC got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Di Florio. When Comunardo Di Fabio came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Borgo Panigale AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Comunardo Di Fabio couldn't finish the play. Demetrio Ferrario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Volponi in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Comunardo Di Fabio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Borgo Panigale AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
