When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Edoardo Cardillo sped through Manera AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernardo Berti. Manera AFC's Bernardo Berti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Martini in the 18th minute of play. Edoardo Cardillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 minutes, Arturo Pietrini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manera AFC and the Bagazzano AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Manera AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Pietrini. 25 minutes into the game, one of Manera AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Bagazzano AFC. Alfredo Alleva stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bernardo Berti. 0-3. Bernardo Berti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Martini in the 32nd minute of the match. Emilio Morelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Armando Centofanti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Manera AFC's Emilio Morelli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Armando Centofanti. That made the score 1-3 after 37 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bagazzano AFC's zone, Alessandro Paolucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Centofanti came out of the goal and Alessandro Paolucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bagazzano AFC's Armando Centofanti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Morelli in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute Emilio Morelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Centofanti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Manera AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bagazzano AFC were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dino Martini to strike the kick off in the second half. Manera AFC's Emilio Morelli got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Centofanti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Paolucci in the 56th minute of the match. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manera AFC's goalkeeper Bernardo Berti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Bagazzano AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Edoardo Cardillo hit a great ball. A hard shot by Bernardo Cavanna from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Bernardo Berti's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Emilio Morelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Bagazzano AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
