Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amedeo Campana started the match with the kick off. Dino Rosetta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 4th match minute, Lucinico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Pascucci to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Apicella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Rosetta in the 7th minute of play. In the 20th minute Dino Petruzzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Furino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Tocci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Fabio Apicella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosimo Pellicciotta's late challenge caught a Mele's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosimo Pellicciotta helped the player get up and apologised. Cosimo Pellicciotta kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Frank Tocci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dino Petruzzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Christian Furino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Dino Petruzzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lucinico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After the first half Lucinico were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dino Rosetta to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Frank Tocci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mele's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Tocci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Apicella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabio Apicella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Rosetta in the 54th minute of play. Dino Petruzzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Christian Furino made a huge save. Mele's Christian Furino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Mele from getting a goal against them. Dino Rosetta took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Apicella. Fabio Apicella dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Christian Furino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dino Petruzzi in the 68th minute. Christian Furino made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Dino Petruzzi sent off a good shot on target. Fedele Del Monaco's late challenge caught a Lucinico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fedele Del Monaco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th match minute, Mele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedele Del Monaco to maneuver through the defense. Dino Petruzzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Christian Furino was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Amedeo Campana capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amedeo Campana really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mele! The Mele supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lucinico's performance. The match ended with a win for Lucinico.
