Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlo Di Sante got the match started through his kick off. If Franco Marcantonio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Franco Marcantonio sped through Montale's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ciro Scarcella. Franco Marcantonio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Scarcella having to interfere. Claudio Ronconi struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Christian Forlano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montale. Francesco Piscitelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Claudio Ronconi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Forlano. Orbassano AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Ronconi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Orbassano AFC booed when Montale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Trasatti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Montale's Claudio Ronconi got a free kick in the 35th minute. Montale's Ciro Scarcella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Marcantonio in the 40th minute of play. Amedeo Rainaldi struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Christian Forlano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montale. Christian Forlano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amedeo Rainaldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Amedeo Rainaldi made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Orbassano AFC's Franco Marcantonio made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciro Scarcella was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 56 played minutes Montale got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Ronconi. In the 58thth minute of the game Carlo Di Sante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montale's Ciro Scarcella was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 59 minutes of play, Montale's Amedeo Rainaldi made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Forlano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Montale's zone, Carlo Di Sante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Scarcella came out of the goal and Carlo Di Sante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Ciro Scarcella managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Orbassano AFC's Franco Marcantonio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Franco Marcantonio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Ciro Scarcella made a huge save. Fabio Trasatti's late challenge caught a Orbassano AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Trasatti helped the player get up and apologised. Fabio Trasatti kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ciro Scarcella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Di Sante, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Francesco Piscitelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Carlo Di Sante dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ciro Scarcella, 2-3. Christian Forlano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Rainaldi in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Claudio Ronconi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Montale's Claudio Ronconi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Forlano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3.
