Alvaro Altobelli made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Biagio Rocchetti sent off a good shot on target. In the 5th match minute, Ortì AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Del Prete to maneuver through the defense. Cosimo Pasquale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Bergamini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zambana Nuova FC's Fabrizio Finocchi got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th match minute, Ortì AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Topatigh to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ortì AFC's Donato Topatigh got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 14th match minute, Ortì AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Topatigh to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Zambana Nuova FC's Amerigo Fiori tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Dario Puce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Biagio Rocchetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Altobelli having to interfere. Dennis Scarano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Dennis Scarano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alvaro Altobelli, 1-0. Zambana Nuova FC's Alvaro Altobelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Zambana Nuova FC from getting a goal against them. After 33 minutes, Arrigo Di Pietro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ortì AFC and the Zambana Nuova FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ortì AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Arrigo Di Pietro hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Biagio Rocchetti made a precise shot to the right of Alvaro Altobelli. Zambana Nuova FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After having played for 39 minutes, Dennis Scarano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ortì AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Scarano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabrizio Finocchi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Scarano in the 54th minute of play forced Zambana Nuova FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Altobelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Zambana Nuova FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Scarano came free, but Alvaro Altobelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match, Camillo Bergamini got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cosimo Pasquale was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alvaro Altobelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Scarano in the 62nd minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Ortì AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo Di Pietro to maneuver through the defense. Zambana Nuova FC's Fabrizio Finocchi managed to work through Ortì AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Fabrizio Finocchi dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 74th match minute, Ortì AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anfilogino Nobile to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Finocchi in the 76th minute of play forced Ortì AFC's goalkeeper Cosimo Pasquale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Zambana Nuova FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrizio Finocchi to maneuver through the defense. Fabrizio Finocchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosimo Pasquale having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Finocchi in the 91st minute of play forced Ortì AFC's goalkeeper Cosimo Pasquale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Topatigh charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Topatigh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ortì AFC's Donato Topatigh got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Zambana Nuova FC booed when Ortì AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biagio Rocchetti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camillo Bergamini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Cosimo Pasquale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosimo Pasquale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Bergamini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ortì AFC had won after a very even match.
