Amerigo Cherubini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Concetto Petrucci went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 9 minutes into the match, Buonviaggio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Rosa came free, but Alvise Nicolo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvise Nicolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Rosa in the 9th minute of the match. When Concetto Petrucci came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Buonviaggio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Concetto Petrucci couldn't finish the play. If Concetto Petrucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute of the match Savignano A Mare got a corner. Buonviaggio FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alex Pedroni ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alvise Nicolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Rosa in the 22nd minute of the match. After 25 played minutes, Savignano A Mare's Eugenio Cesaroni shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alvise Nicolo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Savignano A Mare reached it. Alvise Nicolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Forlani in the 28th minute of play. Alberto Rosa struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Alvise Nicolo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Savignano A Mare. Alfredo Cesaroni kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Concetto Petrucci made a kick off. Amerigo Cherubini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Petrucci in the 53rd minute of play. Amerigo Cherubini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Petrucci in the 55th minute of the match. Alvise Nicolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Forlani in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Concetto Petrucci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buonviaggio FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Rosa got free with Alvise Nicolo in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Tomasso in the 63rd minute of play forced Savignano A Mare's goalkeeper Amerigo Cherubini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Buonviaggio FC's Alvise Nicolo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Forlani in the 65th minute of play. Concetto Petrucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Savignano A Mare booed when Buonviaggio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Ferrante didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Amerigo Forlani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Savignano A Mare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amerigo Forlani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Amerigo Forlani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Savignano A Mare's supporters rose to their feet, but Amerigo Forlani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvise Nicolo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alberto Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Buonviaggio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Forlani came free, but Alvise Nicolo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Concetto Petrucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes Savignano A Mare got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Cesaroni. Amerigo Cherubini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Concetto Petrucci's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Bernardo Tomasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amerigo Cherubini having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Savignano A Mare got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio Consalvi. For all the effort they put into the match, the Savignano A Mare players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Buonviaggio FC.
