A wasted opportunity for Legnaro. 18 minutes into the game, Bernardo Tomasso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Cesare Camerlengo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Aurelio Giacchetti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legnaro's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Giacchetti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvise Nicolo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aurelio Giacchetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Ferrante kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Aurelio Giacchetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 minutes of play, Legnaro's Aurelio Giacchetti made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvise Nicolo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Comunardo Alfonsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Alvise Nicolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Comunardo Alfonsi to strike the kick off in the second half. If Concetto Petrucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Buonviaggio FC's Alvise Nicolo got control of the ball when Aurelio Giacchetti tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute, Legnaro's Comunardo Alfonsi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After 65 minutes, Amos Falasca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Legnaro and the Buonviaggio FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amos Falasca kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Francesco Russo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Legnaro's Cesare Camerlengo didn't even have to move. The supporters of Legnaro booed when Buonviaggio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Lusi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Alessandro Navarra sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Buonviaggio FC's Alvise Nicolo didn't even have to move. Comunardo Alfonsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Cardella charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Cardella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Legnaro! Cesare Camerlengo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Petrucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvise Nicolo was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Comunardo Alfonsi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Comunardo Alfonsi really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. If Aurelio Giacchetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Concetto Petrucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th match minute, Legnaro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amos Falasca to maneuver through the defense. Despite being the better team, Legnaro failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
