Camaldoli's Ciro Liberati got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Concetto Franzioni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 21 in the game by Antonello Fava from a close distance when the talented Alberigo De Angelis managed to make a qualified save. Camaldoli's players were relieved. If Carlo Bruno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cermenate AFC's Fabiano Baratta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrico Chiola in the 25th minute of play. Ciro Liberati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Fabiano Baratta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonello Fava recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Emiliano Muzzatti made the kick off in the second half. Alberigo De Angelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Muzzatti in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Cermenate AFC's Antonello Fava nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberigo De Angelis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Fabiano Baratta was a little too slow when Carlo Bruno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 1-2. A collision led to Camaldoli getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Enrico Chiola hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Ciro Liberati managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camaldoli's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Liberati was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Baratta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the match, Camaldoli's goal looked a bit too open when Antonello Fava came free, but Alberigo De Angelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camaldoli played a much better game than Cermenate AFC and deserved their victory. The Cermenate AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
