The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antonio Tomasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Di Crescenzo in the 6th minute of the match. Eugenio Trombetta struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Antonio Tomasso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nugola. Antonio Tomasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Di Crescenzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Attilio Mei came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Bagazzano AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Attilio Mei couldn't finish the play. Dario Di Crescenzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Antonio Tomasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dario Di Crescenzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, Eugenio Trombetta notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bagazzano AFC's Antonio Tomasso. Antonio Tomasso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eugenio Trombetta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Tomasso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Dario Di Crescenzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Nugola's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Mei came free, but Bianco Carulli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Trombetta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Attilio Mei made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Mei in the 60th minute of play forced Nugola's goalkeeper Bianco Carulli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Eraldo Costanzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bianco Carulli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Di Crescenzo charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Di Crescenzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dario Di Crescenzo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Trombetta in the 67th minute of play forced Bagazzano AFC's goalkeeper Antonio Tomasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bianco Carulli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Attilio Mei went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Antonio Tomasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Trombetta in the 76th minute of play. Dario Di Crescenzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Antonio Tomasso made a huge save. If Eraldo Costanzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Di Crescenzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Tomasso having to interfere. Dario Di Crescenzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Nugola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Di Crescenzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Eugenio Trombetta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
