The ball had pretty good speed, but Felice Natale firmly grabbed it by the left post. Armin Di Giandomenico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amedeo Cardano having to interfere. Christian Baruffa's late challenge caught a Saronno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Baruffa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Saronno booed when Fabbriche FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Baruffa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amedeo Cardano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armin Di Giandomenico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Saronno's goalkeeper Felice Natale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Onori. If Donato Di Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlo Meo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 minutes, Elia Farese mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saronno and the Fabbriche FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Saronno's Elia Farese got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 35th minute, Arrigo Iacovacci made a precise shot to the right of Amedeo Cardano. Fabbriche FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 38 minutes into the match, Saronno's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Onori came free, but Felice Natale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlo Meo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Felice Natale came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlo Meo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 43rd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlo Meo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Fabbriche FC's Carlo Meo in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saronno's goalie prevented a goal. 58 minutes into the match, Donato Di Franco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amedeo Cardano, 1-2. Fabbriche FC's Amedeo Cardano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Di Giandomenico in the 66th minute of play. Alberigo Costantino's late challenge caught a Fabbriche FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberigo Costantino helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes Saronno got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo Costantino. After recieving a nice pass, Fabbriche FC's Eraldo Pozzo tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Onori in the 72nd minute of play forced Saronno's goalkeeper Felice Natale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Fabbriche FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Di Giandomenico came free, but Amedeo Cardano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Anfilogino Danza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlo Meo struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Felice Natale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fabbriche FC. Fabbriche FC's Amedeo Cardano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Di Giandomenico in the 83rd minute of play. When Fabio Odisio fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fabbriche FC's protests and gave Fabio Odisio a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Fabbriche FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Odisio. Armin Di Giandomenico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amedeo Cardano having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Meo in the 93rd minute of play forced Saronno's goalkeeper Felice Natale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Di Franco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Amedeo Cardano made a huge save. Saronno's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
