Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Felice Melone made the kick off which started today's match. Poggio AFC's Alfredo De Francesco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felice Melone in the 3rd minute of play. Alfredo De Francesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Avesani in the 4th minute of the match. Poggio AFC's Fedele Palermo got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredo De Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felice Melone in the 14th minute of play. Dino Chizzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Poggio AFC booed when Pescatori was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Scevola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dino Chizzo in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fortunato Mattei, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 34th match minute, Pescatori was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amos Gazza to maneuver through the defense. Fedele Palermo struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Fortunato Mattei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poggio AFC. A collision led to Pescatori getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Donato Sansoni hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fedele Palermo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Pescatori getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Angelo Scevola hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute of the match Fortunato Brandini shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fortunato Mattei showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The long shot by Davide Fioravanti in the 54th minute really tested Alfredo De Francesco's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 59 minutes into the match, Fedele Palermo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fortunato Mattei. Pescatori's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fedele Palermo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Alfredo De Francesco made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Alfonso Avesani sent off a good shot on target. Pescatori's Fortunato Mattei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Palermo in the 65th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Alfonso Del Gatto took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Alfredo De Francesco to make any attempt to save it. Pescatori's Fortunato Mattei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Chizzo in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, one of Pescatori:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Poggio AFC. Fortunato Brandini stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fortunato Mattei. 2-1. In the 81st minute, Alfonso Avesani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo De Francesco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Fedele Palermo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Fortunato Mattei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo De Francesco came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pescatori's Alfonso Avesani. But to his dismay, Alfonso Avesani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3.
