Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dario Piacentini got the match started through his kick off. Mira Vecchia's Alvise Cavanna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Evangelista in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Dario Piacentini notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mira Vecchia's Alvise Cavanna. Alvise Cavanna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Pavia AFC booed when Mira Vecchia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amerigo Trinca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavia AFC's Ennio Donadoni couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mira Vecchia. Alvise Cavanna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Evangelista in the 11th minute of play. Dario Piacentini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alvise Cavanna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florian Evangelista might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvise Cavanna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florian Evangelista ran back to his position shaking his head. Armando Liberti charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Liberti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florian Evangelista in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvise Cavanna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pavia AFC's Dario Piacentini got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dario Piacentini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvise Cavanna having to make a save. Eugenio Bartolomucci hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damiano Grandis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domenico Di Natale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damiano Grandis having to make a save. In the 86th minute, Pavia AFC's Dario Piacentini dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Florian Evangelista's late challenge caught a Mira Vecchia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florian Evangelista helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pavia AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Florian Evangelista hit a great ball. Florian Evangelista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvise Cavanna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mira Vecchia's zone, Florian Evangelista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvise Cavanna came out of the goal and Florian Evangelista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Pavia AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mira Vecchia.
