Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christian Pietrantoni started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Gaione FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Pietrantoni came free, but Davide Lalli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Fortunato Serafini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Cardano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugenio Marra in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damiano Cardano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eugenio Marra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damiano Cardano having to make a save. Eugenio Marra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex De Leonardis got free with Davide Lalli in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eugenio Marra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damiano Cardano having to interfere. In the 27thth minute of the game Christian Pietrantoni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaione FC's Davide Lalli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antonio Di Lorenzo's late challenge caught a Vignale Nuovo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Di Lorenzo helped the player get up and apologised. Antonio Di Lorenzo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Fortunato Serafini came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Gaione FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fortunato Serafini couldn't finish the play. Alex De Leonardis came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Davide Lalli could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Gaione FC's zone, Christian Pietrantoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davide Lalli came out of the goal and Christian Pietrantoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Vignale Nuovo AFC's Biagio Corna got a free kick in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Damiano Cardano made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Eugenio Marra sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the game, Fortunato Serafini recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Damiano Cardano. Fortunato Serafini showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Alex De Leonardis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Lalli having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vignale Nuovo AFC's Cosimo Cavallaro got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Eugenio Marra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gaione FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Serafini in the 74th minute of play forced Vignale Nuovo AFC's goalkeeper Damiano Cardano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Fortunato Serafini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damiano Cardano. Vignale Nuovo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fortunato Serafini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Eugenio Marra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damiano Cardano having to interfere. Alex De Leonardis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Davide Lalli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute Fortunato Serafini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Cardano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex De Leonardis in the 91st minute of play forced Gaione FC's goalkeeper Davide Lalli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Christian Pietrantoni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fortunato Serafini in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damiano Cardano saved Vignale Nuovo AFC from getting behind. The Gaione FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
