Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Domenico Domenghini took the kick off in the first half of the match. Flavio Pollastrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Fiori in the 3rd minute of the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Domenico Domenghini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fossalta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domenico Domenghini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aurelio Fiori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Domenico Domenghini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domenico Domenghini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute Aurelio Fiori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Pollastrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Ciccio Tardelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domenico Domenghini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmondo Signoretti during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Edmondo Signoretti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ciccio Tardelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Rulli's late challenge caught a Fossalta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Rulli helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gerbi's Armando Rulli got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 43rdth minute of the game Aurelio Fiori who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gerbi's Flavio Pollastrini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flavio Pollastrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Domenghini, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ennio Pellecchia in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciccio Chiavetta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Domenghini in the 54th minute of play forced Gerbi's goalkeeper Flavio Pollastrini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Gerbi's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Domenghini came free, but Flavio Pollastrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Achille Mingione fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fossalta FC's protests and gave Achille Mingione a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Achille Mingione hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the game, Gerbi's Ciccio Tardelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciccio Chiavetta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ennio Pellecchia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Gerbi's Ennio Pellecchia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciccio Chiavetta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Flavio Pollastrini made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Aurelio Fiori sent off a good shot on target. Gerbi's Ciccio Tardelli got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute of the match Cesare Di Cola shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciccio Chiavetta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Fiori during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aurelio Fiori kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Achille Mingione kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fossalta FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felice Romino was slow to take the kick. During this time Gerbi's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Felice Romino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fossalta FC's Ciccio Chiavetta did a great save. Antonio Riccardi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute of the match Bruno Lorenzi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciccio Chiavetta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ciccio Tardelli took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciccio Chiavetta. Ciccio Chiavetta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Gerbi's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
