Ciccio Chiavetta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Persia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Villazzano FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Aurelio Persia made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Villazzano FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Sacchetti. Felice Colasante got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 59 played minutes Villazzano FC got a freekick which was hit by Felice Colasante. Angelo Bizzarri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ciccio Chiavetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domenico Domenghini's late challenge caught a Villazzano FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Fossalta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenico Domenghini to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Villazzano FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Aurelio Persia hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Persia during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ennio Troiano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
