After a rather tough play, Fossalta FC's Fausto Marconi got a free kick in the 7th minute. With a little luck, Passatore FC's Franco Di Tommaso got control of the ball when Domenico Domenghini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alvise Madonna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ciccio Chiavetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fossalta FC's goalkeeper Ciccio Chiavetta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Edmondo Signoretti fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Franco Di Tommaso, passed just outside the right post. Fossalta FC's Domenico Domenghini got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvise Madonna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ciccio Chiavetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domenico Domenghini kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Edmondo Signoretti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fossalta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmondo Signoretti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franco Di Tommaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciccio Chiavetta came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Passatore FC's Alessio Uguccioni. But to his dismay, Alessio Uguccioni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Franco Di Tommaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmondo Signoretti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd match minute, Passatore FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo De Nicola to maneuver through the defense. Ennio Troiano's late challenge caught a Passatore FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ennio Troiano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Passatore FC booed when Fossalta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio Troiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Carter Placidi came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Fossalta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carter Placidi couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmondo Signoretti in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Di Tommaso saved Passatore FC from getting behind. Domenico Domenghini struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Franco Di Tommaso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fossalta FC. Franco Di Tommaso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domenico Domenghini went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Ali during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fausto Ali hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Domenico Domenghini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Marconi's late challenge caught a Passatore FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciccio Chiavetta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessio Uguccioni in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Passatore FC booed when Fossalta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carter Placidi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Passatore FC's Angelo De Nicola couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fossalta FC. Passatore FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
