Damiano Ciarrocchi hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Maris AFC's Federico Pasquarelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Maris AFC from getting a goal against them. Alfonso Campoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Pasquarelli having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Murelle Vechia's goal looked a bit too open when Damiano Ciarrocchi came free, but Antonio Baruffa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Murelle Vechia getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Anfilogino De Rubeis hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Murelle Vechia defense, Attilio Troiani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Baruffa. The Murelle Vechia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Baruffa should have stopped the shot. Antonio Baruffa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attilio Troiani in the 22nd minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Alfonso Campoli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murelle Vechia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Campoli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Maris AFC booed when Murelle Vechia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Lavatrice didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Damiano Ciarrocchi came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Maris AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damiano Ciarrocchi couldn't finish the play. Antonio Baruffa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Attilio Troiani's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Concetto Scutti made a kick off. Antonio Baruffa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damiano Ciarrocchi in the 54th minute of play. Federico Pasquarelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Campoli in the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Concetto Scutti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Federico Pasquarelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Federico Pasquarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Campoli in the 62nd minute of play. Maris AFC's Edmondo Sciamanna suffered a fractured collar bone after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Concetto Scutti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Federico Pasquarelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Pasquarelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Scutti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damiano Ciarrocchi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Federico Pasquarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Scutti in the 76th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Concetto Scutti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Federico Pasquarelli was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. The supporters of Murelle Vechia booed when Maris AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio De Grandis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Amos Vespa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Federico Pasquarelli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Alfonso Campoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Murelle Vechia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Maris AFC for a fine match.
