After having played for 4 minutes, Achille Barresi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borgosatollo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Achille Barresi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donato Bearzot hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corrado Silvestre in the 9th minute of play forced Pianezza's goalkeeper Alfonso Signori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carter Canuto was a little too slow when Carlo Bellomo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Corrado Silvestre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borgosatollo's supporters rose to their feet, but Corrado Silvestre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Signori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arturo Reggianini kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Corrado Silvestre came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Borgosatollo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corrado Silvestre couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute Carlo Bellomo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Canuto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, one of Borgosatollo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Borgosatollo. Bernardo Lusi charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Lusi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carlo Bellomo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Carter Canuto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Borgosatollo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Silvestre to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso Signori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achille Barresi, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Achille Barresi was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Bianco Banana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pianezza's supporters rose to their feet, but Bianco Banana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carter Canuto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfonso Signori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achille Barresi in the 55th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Borgosatollo's Achille Barresi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfonso Signori. That made the score 2-1 after 57 minutes of play. In the 61st minute, Carlo Bellomo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Cristoforo Costanzo made a precise shot to the right of Alfonso Signori. Pianezza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Achille Barresi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Alfonso Signori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Cristoforo Costanzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borgosatollo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pianezza the free kick. After 76 played minutes Borgosatollo got a freekick which was hit by Cristoforo Costanzo. Achille Barresi's late challenge caught a Pianezza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Achille Barresi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Achille Barresi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Achille Barresi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Bernardo Lusi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute Achille Barresi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Signori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bianco Banana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Carlo Bellomo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carter Canuto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
