Murelle Vechia's Beppe Sciamanna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonello Meazza in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Cene's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Corelli came free, but Alvise Martano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonello Meazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 played minutes Cene got a freekick which was hit by Bianco Donato. With his leg Alvise Martano managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Murelle Vechia's Alberto Eboli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Angelo Corelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvise Martano came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Murelle Vechia's Alberto Eboli. But to his dismay, Alberto Eboli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Alberto Eboli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Alvise Martano made a huge save. When Murelle Vechia's Angelo Corelli in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cene's goalie prevented a goal. After 31 played minutes, Murelle Vechia's Edmondo De Amicis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alvise Martano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Murelle Vechia reached it. Cesare De Rubeis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Corelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonello Meazza made a kick off. Bianco Donato in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Beppe Sciamanna, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Bianco Donato got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 59th minute Alberto Eboli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvise Martano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Corelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the game, Antonello Meazza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Beppe Sciamanna. Antonello Meazza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Alvise Martano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Corelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beppe Sciamanna was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Antonello Meazza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antonello Meazza really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. A hard shot 83 in the game by Bianco Donato from a close distance when the talented Beppe Sciamanna managed to make a qualified save. Murelle Vechia's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Angelo Corelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvise Martano was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Antonello Meazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Beppe Sciamanna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Bianco Donato got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cene walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
