Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cristoforo Biondi made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute, Emiliano Pagliuca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 minutes, Elia Petrucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rivale AFC and the Pirri players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Felicetti in the 11th minute of play forced Rivale AFC's goalkeeper Comunardo Pari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Comunardo Pari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercole Lepori, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Amedeo Napoleoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Biondi in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute Ercole Lepori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Pari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franco Felicetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Pari having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Rivale AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Primavera. Ercole Lepori might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Comunardo Pari. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ercole Lepori ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristoforo Biondi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Amedeo Napoleoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Parente took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amedeo Napoleoni. Amedeo Napoleoni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Franco Felicetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rivale AFC's Cristoforo Biondi got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franco Felicetti to make the kick off. Ercole Lepori could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Comunardo Pari made a huge save. Rivale AFC's Fabio Parente got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Cristoforo Biondi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amedeo Napoleoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Parente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Pirri's Dino Alfonsi got a free kick in the 69th minute. Rivale AFC's Fabio Parente got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Ercole Lepori managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirri's supporters rose to their feet, but Ercole Lepori was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Comunardo Pari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ercole Lepori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Pari having to interfere. Ercole Lepori's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Comunardo Pari skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rivale AFC's Fabio Parente got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pirri's Dino Alfonsi got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Fabio Parente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Cristoforo Biondi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Pirri's Amedeo Napoleoni. Amedeo Napoleoni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rivale AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
