Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Domenico Sardella made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camillo Cardillo in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Faiella saved Druento FC from getting behind. A collision led to Druento FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Aldo Della Torre hit a great ball. In the 7th minute Domenico Sardella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Buffone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Carmine Colonna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Di Salvatore hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Druento FC's Alvaro Faiella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Cardillo in the 19th minute of play. Camillo Cardillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Faiella having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Cocca during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Antignano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Cocca to maneuver through the defense. Armando Buffone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Sardella in the 24th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberigo Giacchetti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armando Buffone. That made the score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. Domenico Sardella's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Buffone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Carmine Colonna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antignano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmine Colonna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domenico Sardella blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Buffone having to make a save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Camillo Cardillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Carmine Colonna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Druento FC's Aldo Della Torre got a free kick in the 54th minute. Carmine Colonna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Alvaro Faiella made a huge save. After 57 played minutes Druento FC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Della Torre. When Antignano's Carmine Colonna, in the 58th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Antignano. Armando Buffone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Vitullo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Antignano's Carmine Colonna got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domenico Sardella struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Armando Buffone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Druento FC. Armando Buffone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domenico Sardella went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 81 played minutes Antignano got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Arpaia. Amos Bianchi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Armando Buffone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberigo Giacchetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Ernesto Cocca was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 90 played minutes Antignano got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Cocca. Armando Buffone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenico Sardella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Druento FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Antignano had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
