With a little luck, Terlago AFC's Aldo De Filippo got control of the ball when Dennis Mandelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Elia Crisantemo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viarolo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Terlago AFC the free kick. In the 7th match minute, Viarolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elia Crisantemo to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Viarolo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Terlago AFC:s goal. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Terlago AFC. Concetto Zacchia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fulvio De Rubeis. 0-1. Terlago AFC's Cesare Latini got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 17 played minutes Viarolo got a freekick which was hit by Elia Crisantemo. Fulvio De Rubeis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesare Latini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Domenico Di Berardino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cesare Latini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Alfonso Petrucci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Terlago AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Petrucci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulvio De Rubeis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dennis Mandelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Aldo De Filippo made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Terlago AFC's Bernardo Motta got a free kick in the 36th minute. Fulvio De Rubeis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Latini in the 40th minute of the match. 1-1 became the score in the 45th minute when Alfonso Serantoni elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugenio Pari stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Viarolo's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Petrucci came free, but Fulvio De Rubeis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo De Filippo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Mandelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Petrucci during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aldo De Filippo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Serantoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viarolo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eugenio Pari 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. After a rather tough play, Viarolo's Federico Graziano got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Eugenio Pari came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Terlago AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Pari couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Terlago AFC's zone, Alfonso Serantoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo De Filippo came out of the goal and Alfonso Serantoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldo De Filippo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Mandelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Viarolo's goalkeeper Fulvio De Rubeis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cesare Latini. Fulvio De Rubeis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Pari in the 93rd minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
