Fulvio Valletta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Davide Scacchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davide Scacchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenico Picca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davide Scacchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Picca in the 17th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Comunardo Leggeri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Collinello AFC and the Beccacivetta AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Comunardo Leggeri kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Bruno Rosetta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beccacivetta AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Rosetta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Giusto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donato Negri's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Augusto Giusto firmly grabbed it by the left post. Augusto Giusto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Negri in the 28th minute. After 30 played minutes Collinello AFC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Cianci. Donato Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Augusto Giusto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Collinello AFC's Augusto Giusto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Rosetta in the 36th minute of play. Bruno Rosetta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Augusto Giusto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulvio Valletta scored 0-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Davide Scacchi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 48th minute, Dino Pazienza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Beccacivetta AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Collinello AFC were winning 0-1.

After a rather tough play, Beccacivetta AFC's Aldo Bearzot got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 64 minutes, Domenico Picca made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Beccacivetta AFC's Davide Scacchi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Donato Negri took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augusto Giusto. Augusto Giusto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Fulvio Valletta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 played minutes Collinello AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dino Pazienza. Beccacivetta AFC's Donato Negri got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
