Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Comunardo Musacchio started the match with the kick off. Biagio Lemme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Comunardo Musacchio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Comunardo Musacchio in the 7th minute of play forced Gerno AFC's goalkeeper Biagio Lemme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Donato Cristofari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Lemme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Gerno AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Comunardo Musacchio came free, but Biagio Lemme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amos Galli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvise Nardone, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Beppe Sarnelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Amos Galli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Beppe Sarnelli came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Gerno AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beppe Sarnelli couldn't finish the play. Alvise Nardone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beppe Sarnelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Amos Galli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amos Galli made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Beppe Sarnelli sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the game, Alvise Nardone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gerno AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Straorini AFC the free kick. Alvise Nardone kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Donato Cristofari left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Straorini AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 38 minutes into the match, Gerno AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Cristofari came free, but Biagio Lemme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Donato Cristofari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Biagio Lemme was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Comunardo Musacchio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Biagio Lemme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Cristofari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Biagio Lemme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvise Nardone to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Gerno AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Comunardo Musacchio came free, but Biagio Lemme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dino Tacco fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gerno AFC's protests and gave Dino Tacco a yellow card for diving instead. Comunardo Musacchio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beppe Sarnelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Donato Cristofari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Straorini AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Cristofari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Comunardo Musacchio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Cristofari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Biagio Lemme made a huge save. Beppe Sarnelli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amos Galli having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amerigo Muto during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gerno AFC's Amerigo Muto got a free kick in the 85th minute. The supporters of Straorini AFC booed when Gerno AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Tacco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Biagio Lemme came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Straorini AFC's Donato Cristofari. But to his dismay, Donato Cristofari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Comunardo Musacchio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Biagio Lemme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
