Donato Barone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Santovito in the 2nd minute of the match. After 18 minutes, Dave Di Placido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Noverasco and the Montesicuro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dave Di Placido hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Montesicuro's Anthony Panno broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Noverasco's Donato De Matteis got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Galante in the 36th minute of play forced Montesicuro's goalkeeper Florian Brini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Montesicuro defense, Enzo Galante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florian Brini. The Montesicuro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florian Brini should have stopped the shot. In the 47th match minute, Montesicuro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beppe Formica to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Enzo Galante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noverasco's Donato Barone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Granato in the 59th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Alvise Granato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enzo Galantes short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Florian Brini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Anthony Panno fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montesicuro's protests and gave Anthony Panno a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Montesicuro's Anthony Panno got a free kick in the 84th minute. Noverasco's Filippo Guerriero got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Montesicuro's Florian Brini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Galante in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Noverasco eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
