Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amedeo Biagetti got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Marcellise's Fabrizio Giancristofaro got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Arrigo Di Renzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Biagetti in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Gambettola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Rondinelli to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Aurelio Pelliccioni in the 21st minute really tested Arrigo Di Renzo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 25 minutes into the match, Gambettola's Ermanno Matteucci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Beppe Martinelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Biagetti in the 31st minute of play forced Gambettola's goalkeeper Arrigo Di Renzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes in the game, Amedeo Biagetti fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Arrigo Di Renzo having to interfere. 40 minutes in the game, Alvaro Di Clemente fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Arrigo Di Renzo having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Beppe Martinelli made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Ferdinando Masci sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th match minute, Gambettola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beppe Pocobello to maneuver through the defense. When Beppe Pocobello fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gambettola's protests and gave Beppe Pocobello a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Beppe Pocobello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dino Fanelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beppe Pocobello kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Ermanno Matteucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Martinelli having to interfere. Beppe Pocobello hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute of the match Aurelio Pelliccioni shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arrigo Di Renzo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dino Fanelli took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arrigo Di Renzo. Arrigo Di Renzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Amedeo Biagetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arrigo Di Renzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Biagetti in the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Marcellise had won after a very even match.
