The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Carimate's goalkeeper Fulvio Carota had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferdinando Masci. Ercole Natale kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ferdinando Masci who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Fulvio Carota when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Dave Giorgio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gambettola's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave Giorgio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulvio Carota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferdinando Masci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristoforo Falcioni to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Gambettola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beppe Pocobello to maneuver through the defense. Arrigo Di Renzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dave Mingione in the 97th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
