Anthony Capone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Imperiale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Lalli having to interfere. In the 9th minute Francesco Zappacosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Lalli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Amos Schirone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francesco Zappacosta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrizio Lalli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Zappacosta, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Fantini in the 39th minute of play forced Laipacco's goalkeeper Davide Cocca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After having played for 58 minutes, Aurelio Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vigatto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Fantini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amos Schirone hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Davide Cocca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Capone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Laipacco's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Pari came free, but Davide Cocca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Francesco Russi fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laipacco's protests and gave Francesco Russi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Francesco Russi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Aurelio Fantini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The long shot by Angelo Zinni in the 93rd minute really tested Fabrizio Lalli's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Laipacco's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
