Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fausto Pierucci started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Dario Santoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nugola FC's Armin Tondi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Pierucci in the 11th minute of play. Angelo Petrella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Valeri having to interfere. Florian Valeri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Petrella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Pierucci in the 19th minute of play forced Nugola FC's goalkeeper Armin Tondi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nugola FC's zone, Fausto Pierucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armin Tondi came out of the goal and Fausto Pierucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Fortunato Ascoli came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Durazzanino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fortunato Ascoli couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Nugola FC's Carmine Berti got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Fausto Pierucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes of play, Nugola FC's Aurelio Piretti made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florian Valeri was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Aurelio Piretti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nugola FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Piretti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florian Valeri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Pantalone during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Durazzanino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Pantalone to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Piretti might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florian Valeri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurelio Piretti ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Fortunato Ascoli sped through Nugola FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armin Tondi.

Christian Pantalone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armin Tondi having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Fortunato Ascoli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armin Tondi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Durazzanino FC's zone, Aurelio Piretti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian Valeri came out of the goal and Aurelio Piretti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Petrella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Petrella might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florian Valeri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Petrella ran back to his position shaking his head. Fortunato Ascoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armin Tondi having to interfere. If Angelo Petrella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Durazzanino FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Durazzanino FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
