Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Felice Brini got the match started through his kick off. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Cesare Clemente put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Elia La Marca. Alex Serantoni was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ciro Terenzi. After a rather tough play, Rupingrande's Alessio Giolo got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute Cesare Clemente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia La Marca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Cesare Clemente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Del Gatto in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elia La Marca saved Sasso Marconi FC from getting behind. After having played for 44 minutes, Cesare Clemente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rupingrande's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesare Clemente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesare Clemente was the one to do the kick off. Camillo Carozza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Alex Serantoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Felice Brini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Alex Serantoni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Rupingrande booed when Sasso Marconi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Panella didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sasso Marconi FC's zone, Cesare Clemente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elia La Marca came out of the goal and Cesare Clemente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Rupingrande getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Alessio Giolo hit a great ball. Dino Giampietro kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Bernardo Gerosa, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 71 minutes, Alessio Giolo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rupingrande's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessio Giolo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elia La Marca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Del Gatto went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Alfredo Del Gatto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Elia La Marca made a huge save. In the 83rd match minute, Rupingrande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Ricci to maneuver through the defense. In the 85thth minute of the game Felice Brini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rupingrande's Alex Serantoni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Eraldo Polo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sasso Marconi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eraldo Polo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Serantoni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 89 played minutes Rupingrande got a freekick which was hit by Alessio Giolo. In the 94th minute, Sasso Marconi FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alessio Giolo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Rupingrande getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cristiano Bertini hit a great ball. The Rupingrande supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rupingrande would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
