Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filippo Marsili started the match with the kick off. Armin Cauli kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rovellasca's Armin Cauli got a free kick in the 6th minute. Claudio Di Tommaso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute Alberto Checchia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Donati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Carmine Primavera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davide Donati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Checchia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Carmine Primavera fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Rovellasca booed when Mellana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Bottaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Claudio Di Tommaso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mellana FC's Davide Donati was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Checchia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Davide Donati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Rovellasca's Claudio Di Tommaso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Davide Donati made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Filippo Marsili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mellana FC's zone, Claudio Di Tommaso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davide Donati came out of the goal and Claudio Di Tommaso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Di Tommaso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Mellana FC got a freekick which was hit by Anfilogino Bottaro. After a defensive mix-up in Mellana FC's zone, Alberto Checchia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davide Donati came out of the goal and Alberto Checchia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rovellasca's Comunardo Centofanti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Primavera in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mellana FC's zone, Claudio Di Tommaso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davide Donati came out of the goal and Claudio Di Tommaso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute, Alberto Checchia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Davide Donati made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Checchia in the 64th minute. If Alberto Checchia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Di Tommaso in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davide Donati prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mellana FC's Davide Donati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Di Tommaso in the 75th minute of play. Alberto Checchia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Donati having to interfere. Davide Donati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Di Tommaso, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Comunardo Centofanti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filippo Marsili in the 84th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Mellana FC's goalkeeper Davide Donati had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Checchia. Davide Donati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Di Tommaso in the 94th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Claudio Di Tommaso took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Davide Donati to make any attempt to save it. The Mellana FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rovellasca were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
