Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francesco Antonelli took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Felice Marra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Torre Gaia AFC's Antonio Belardi got control of the ball when Carter Furino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciccio Berti hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes Torre Gaia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Ferraris. Carter Furino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Belardi having to make a save. Antonio Belardi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felice Marra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felice Marra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the game, Tor Tre Ponti's Carter Furino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonio Belardi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Felice Marra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tor Tre Ponti's supporters rose to their feet, but Felice Marra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Belardi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francesco Antonelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Davide Palladino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torre Gaia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Palladino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Mastrocola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anselmo Mastrocola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Antonelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Francesco Antonelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Mastrocola having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Felice Marra made the kick off in the second half. Antonio Belardi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciccio Berti in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Tor Tre Ponti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Di Massimo to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the game, Tor Tre Ponti's Carter Furino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tor Tre Ponti's Anselmo Mastrocola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Antonelli in the 83rd minute of play. Alberigo Niccolai's late challenge caught a Torre Gaia AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberigo Niccolai helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, Tor Tre Ponti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberigo Niccolai to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Mastrocola was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Francesco Antonelli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Francesco Antonelli really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. When Torre Gaia AFC's Francesco Antonelli, in the 95th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Torre Gaia AFC.
