Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carter Catena took the kick off in the first half of the match. Flavio Borgatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennio Basso having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Carter Catena notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Olza AFC's Ennio Basso. Ennio Basso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Olza AFC defense, Antonello Combi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ennio Basso. The Olza AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ennio Basso should have stopped the shot. Olza AFC's Ennio Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonello Combi in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Migliarina FC's Carter Catena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ennio Basso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ernesto Curti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmondo Di Cesare having to interfere. Felice Rocchi kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th of the match, Alessio Barberio tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Edmondo Di Cesare got in the way and made a wonderful save. Alessio Barberio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Edmondo Di Cesare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Olza AFC's Fedele Marongiu got a free kick in the 24th minute. Ennio Basso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Borgatello, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Alessio Barberio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmondo Di Cesare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabiano Spada's late challenge caught a Olza AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabiano Spada helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute of the match Olza AFC got a corner. Migliarina FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filippo Trevisani ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Migliarina FC's goalie and right to Ernesto Curti. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Migliarina FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ennio Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Borgatello in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter Catena in the 40th minute of play forced Olza AFC's goalkeeper Ennio Basso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adriano Teti hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute of the match Migliarina FC got a corner. Olza AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amedeo Bonanni ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Carter Catena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Migliarina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carter Catena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ennio Basso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Migliarina FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alessio Barberio to make the kick off. Ennio Basso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Borgatello in the 55th minute. If Ernesto Curti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Alessio Barberio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmondo Di Cesare was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Ennio Basso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carter Catena, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ernesto Curti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olza AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Curti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmondo Di Cesare breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, Ernesto Curti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmondo Di Cesare. Migliarina FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernesto Curti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. When Migliarina FC's Carter Catena in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olza AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Ernesto Curti struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Edmondo Di Cesare didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olza AFC. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Alessio Barberio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olza AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alessio Barberio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmondo Di Cesare breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfonso Di Maria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmondo Di Cesare having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Felice Rocchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Migliarina FC booed when Olza AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Curti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Migliarina FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
