Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlo Corvasce started the match with the kick off. After having played for 8 minutes, Adriano Mucci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azzano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Mucci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 12 played minutes Azzano got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Santangelo. After a defensive mix-up in Azzano's zone, Carlo Corvasce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Bernardi came out of the goal and Carlo Corvasce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cargnacco's Augusto Guerrieri got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlo Piacentini was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Biagio Di Leonardo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Carlo Corvasce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Bernardi having to interfere. If Adriano Mucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlo Corvasce took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudio Bernardi. Claudio Bernardi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some careless play in the Azzano defense, Carlo Corvasce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Bernardi. The Azzano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Bernardi should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Azzano's Adriano Mucci slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlo Piacentini. That made the score 2-2 after 47 minutes of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Biagio Di Leonardo made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Biagio Di Leonardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Cargnacco's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Mucci came free, but Carlo Piacentini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Biagio Di Leonardo came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Azzano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Biagio Di Leonardo couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the match, Cargnacco's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Mucci came free, but Carlo Piacentini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriano Mucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Piacentini having to interfere. Biagio Di Leonardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Carlo Piacentini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Biagio Di Leonardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cargnacco's Carlo Piacentini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Mucci in the 74th minute of play. Augusto Guerrieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Bernardi having to interfere. Biagio Di Leonardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Azzano fully deserved thier win.
