Augusto Biavati succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After 11 minutes, Bernardo Petito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casoria and the Giovanico players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Casoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Petito to maneuver through the defense. 2-1 became the score in the 13th minute when Ercole Rocchetti elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dennis Polito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Biavati in the 18th minute of play. Alfonso Carozza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Frabetti in the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Davide Frabetti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casoria's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Frabetti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Carozza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Giovanico's Concetto Guerra got a free kick in the 29th minute. Casoria's Davide Frabetti got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfonso Carozza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Frabetti in the 33rd minute of play. Davide Frabetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Biavati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dennis Polito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Polito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Bracco in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Biavati stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Giovanico's Alfonso Carozza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Frabetti in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Ercole Rocchetti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ettore Minotti's late challenge caught a Casoria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ettore Minotti helped the player get up and apologised. Ettore Minotti kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Achille Grassi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfonso Carozza. Giovanico's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Davide Frabetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Alfonso Carozza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Casoria's Ercole Rocchetti got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 77th minute, Demetrio Bracco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Casoria's Dennis Polito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Casoria from getting a goal against them. Aldo Gallo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. If Demetrio Bracco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 90 played minutes Casoria got a freekick which was hit by Dino Vierchowod. Augusto Biavati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Casoria's goalkeeper Dennis Polito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Demetrio Bracco. Giovanico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
