Aurelio Contaldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferruccio Trinca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cosimo Del Duca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferruccio Trinca was the one to do the kick off. Bure's Ferruccio Trinca got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Arenzano's Emilio Costanzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ettore Guida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Emilio Costanzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ettore Guida having to interfere. Ettore Guida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Costanzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bure's Ettore Guida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Costanzo in the 72nd minute of play. Arenzano's Enrico Di Luca got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ettore Guida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Costanzo in the 95th minute of play.
