Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to Montorfano FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Demetrio Spione hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Conforti in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlo Taglieri saved Montorfano FC from getting behind. In the 6th minute, Eugenio Sforza made a precise shot to the right of Ferruccio Bonanni. Fossalta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 9th minute, one of Montorfano FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Montorfano FC. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fossalta FC! Fossalta FC:s Ferruccio Bonanni showed great skill when he stopped Anthony Minotti:s penalty. Ferruccio Bonanni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Tammaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Carlo Taglieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Dossena in the 20th minute of play. If Fabiano Porta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ennio Pittelli hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Fabiano Porta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Taglieri having to interfere. Emilio Conforti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Fossalta FC's Ferruccio Bonanni got control of the ball when Eugenio Sforza tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute, Cosimo Vulcano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Fossalta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Tammaro came free, but Ferruccio Bonanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabiano Porta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anthony Minotti charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anthony Minotti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, one of Montorfano FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Montorfano FC. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florian Tammaro to make the kick off. Florian Baruffa charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florian Baruffa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Fabiano Porta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dino Rozzi's late challenge caught a Fossalta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dino Rozzi helped the player get up and apologised. 57 minutes into the match, Fossalta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Sforza came free, but Ferruccio Bonanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Fossalta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Bozzo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Emilio Conforti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fossalta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Conforti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlo Taglieri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fossalta FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anthony Minotti was slow to take the kick. During this time Montorfano FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Fossalta FC's goalie and right to Ennio Pittelli. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Fossalta FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
