Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Dino Primavera made a precise shot to the right of Alvise Venditti. Portofino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 7 minutes into the game, Corrado Di Prinzio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portofino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quirico AFC the free kick. The supporters of Quirico AFC booed when Portofino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corrado Di Prinzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dino Primavera struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Alvise Venditti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quirico AFC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Filippini got free with Anselmo Crema in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anselmo Filippini who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Anselmo Crema when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 17 minutes of play, Portofino's Anselmo Filippini made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anselmo Crema was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quirico AFC's Dino Primavera got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arturo Massimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Alvise Venditti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Dino Primavera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvise Venditti was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Arturo Massimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Alvise Venditti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Dino Primavera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvise Venditti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amos Piscitelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Crema having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arturo Massimi to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Quirico AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Cicchinelli. Edmondo Romino took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Crema. Anselmo Crema dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Alvise Venditti was a little too slow when Dino Primavera got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 2-2. Alvise Venditti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Massimi in the 62nd minute of the match. Dino Primavera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Venditti having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Portofino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferruccio Ceccon to maneuver through the defense. Dino Primavera struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute, Amos Piscitelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quirico AFC's Ermanno Spiazzi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 75th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alvise Venditti but with some difficulty. Portofino's Alvise Venditti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Massimi in the 77th minute of play. When Dino Primavera came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Quirico AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Primavera couldn't finish the play. After having played for 81 minutes, Arturo Massimi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quirico AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Massimi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arturo Massimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Alvise Venditti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Quirico AFC booed when Portofino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Piscitelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Anselmo Filippini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmondo Romino in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anselmo Crema saved Quirico AFC from getting behind. When Alex Lozzi fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quirico AFC's protests and gave Alex Lozzi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Quirico AFC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Alex Lozzi hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Quirico AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
