The audience was convinced that Bianco Foddis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florian Manzi was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 23 played minutes Certenoli AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Di Mascio. Alexander Cicchini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carter Gazza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Antonello Capone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Carter Gazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bianco Foddis came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Certenoli AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bianco Foddis couldn't finish the play. Bianco Foddis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Antonello Capone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Ronca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Gazza having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
