Dennis Nola started the match with the kick off. Ennio Nobile charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ennio Nobile the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Padova booed when San Genesio AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio Nobile didn't get a good kick on the ball. San Genesio AFC's Anthony Costacurta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save San Genesio AFC from getting a goal against them. 72 minutes into the game, Dave Delle Donne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
