In the 19th minute of the match Fabio Cassone sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabrizio Walcher skillfully saved the ball. Enzo Nobile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Walcher having to interfere. When Enzo Nobile came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Fabio AFC fans jumped to their feet. Fabrizio Walcher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Comunardo Di Michele, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute Enzo Nobile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Walcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Carter Pettinellis short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Fabrizio Walcher to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Enzo Nobile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes, Elia Di Muzio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferento and the Fabio AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elia Di Muzio hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Ferento:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fabio AFC:s goal. A collision led to Ferento getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Diego Di Mattia hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ferento's Augusto Vespa got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Fabio AFC's Fabio Cassone broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fabio AFC's Comunardo Di Michele got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Comunardo Di Michele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Attilio Di Lullo fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferento's protests and gave Attilio Di Lullo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th match minute, Ferento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attilio Di Lullo to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Cassone took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabrizio Walcher. Ferento's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Diego Di Mattia's late challenge caught a Fabio AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Di Mattia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, Ferento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Di Mattia to maneuver through the defense. Diego Soccio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dino Doris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Soccio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Soccio struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Dino Doris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferento.
