After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Alberigo Barducci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Secondigliano AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberigo Barducci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferruccio Marzulli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dino Sciotto charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dino Sciotto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vaneze booed when Secondigliano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amedeo Trombetta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carter Bertoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Anfilogino Minati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Quattrocchi charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Quattrocchi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Angelo Quattrocchi kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Armin Fabri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferruccio Marzulli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Armin Fabri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferruccio Marzulli having to interfere. Alberigo Barducci succeeded in the game's 24th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After a rather tough play, Vaneze's Demetrio Bozzelli got a free kick in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Secondigliano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Di Pasquale came free, but Anfilogino Minati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dave Di Pasquale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anfilogino Minati made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carter Bertoni in the 36th minute. Alvise Taranto hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The wind increased when Alberigo Barducci made the kick off in the second half. Anfilogino Minati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter Bertoni in the 54th minute of play. Angelo Quattrocchi hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Secondigliano AFC's zone, Dave Di Pasquale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anfilogino Minati came out of the goal and Dave Di Pasquale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Armin Fabri made a precise shot to the right of Ferruccio Marzulli. Vaneze's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Dave Di Pasquale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dave Di Pasquale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute Armin Fabri suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When the match had been going on for 89 minutes, Secondigliano AFC's Achille Ottavi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ferruccio Marzulli. Anfilogino Minati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Di Pasquale in the 97th minute of play. When Alberigo Barducci fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Secondigliano AFC's protests and gave Alberigo Barducci a yellow card for diving instead.
