In the 22nd match minute, Orti AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Cardillo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Uguccioni in the 23rd minute of play forced Orti AFC's goalkeeper Carter Piermattei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Edoardo Renzetti came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Orti AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edoardo Renzetti couldn't finish the play. In the 31st match minute, Grassina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armin Cavallo to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Colelli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carter Piermattei having to make a save. Carter Piermattei came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Grassina FC's Florian Uguccioni. But to his dismay, Florian Uguccioni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 45 played minutes Orti AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo Catapano. After recieving a nice pass, Grassina FC's Alfonso Marinucci tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edoardo Renzetti to strike the kick off in the second half. Armin Cavallo's late challenge caught a Orti AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armin Cavallo helped the player get up and apologised. Armin Cavallo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Orti AFC's Alvaro Rotili broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edoardo Renzetti in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Biagio Mascitti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Biagio Mascitti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Renzetti in the 63rd minute of the match. Edoardo Renzetti kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match.
